AI Translator

AI Translator is a translation app designed for cross-language workplace scenarios, supporting two modes: Document Translation and Text Translation. Whether for daily communication, business materials, or professional documents, it improves translation efficiency and accuracy while ensuring terminology consistency.

Using AI Translator

Document Translation

  1. Open AI Translator and select the translation mode as "Document Translation".
  2. Upload files: Upload local files. PDF and DOCX formats are supported (scanned PDFs, encrypted documents, and image content are not currently supported for translation).
    • File size: Each file must not exceed 100MB.
    • Processing method supports submitting 1–5 files at a time (the exact number can be controlled through environment variables), with up to 100 documents supported for batch upload. The system will process them in sequence, significantly reducing repetitive operations.
  3. Submit request: Configure translation parameters, including source language, target language, translation model, glossary, and custom prompt.
    • Custom prompt: You can write custom instructions to finely control translation style, terminology handling, output format, and more, making the translation better suited to specific business scenarios.
  4. After the translation is completed, the page displays a side-by-side view of the source text and translated text, and you can switch to pure translation mode with one click for easier comparison, review, and proofreading.
  5. Process translation results:
    • Download locally: Supports downloading in PDF or DOCX format to meet different usage preferences.
    • Upload to the knowledge base: You can directly upload the result as a PDF or DOCX file to the knowledge base for team sharing or subsequent Agent use.

Text Translation

  1. Select the translation mode as "Text Translation".
  2. Enter the text to be translated. Manual input and voice input are supported.
  3. Configure translation parameters: source language, target language, translation model, glossary, and translation style.
    • Translation style: Supports styles such as professional, conversational, friendlier, more technical, concise, and expanded, allowing flexible selection based on the scenario.
  4. After sending, the translation results will be output one by one in a conversational stream format.

  • Supported languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian.
  • Translation models: Only OpenAI, Azure, AWS AI, Tongyi models are supported.
  • Glossary: If the content involves professional terminology, it is recommended to configure a glossary in advance to ensure consistency in terminology translation.
