MCP

MCP is the central module in AI Asset for connecting AI models with external systems.
Its role is to help Agents “access more capabilities,” enabling intelligent agents not only to answer questions, but also to actually execute tasks, access systems, and call data.
Simply put: MCP is the key component that transforms AI from “able to talk” into “able to act.”

Core Features

  1. Unified Connectivity: Centrally manages models and external APIs from different sources, allowing AI to flexibly use multiple intelligent resources.
  2. Permissions and Security: Supports organization-level and individual-level access control to ensure enterprise data security and compliant usage.
  3. Flexible Scalability: New models or system interfaces can be added freely based on business needs, expanding AI capabilities at any time.
  4. Seamless Integration: Works closely with the Agent, Skill, and App modules of AI Asset, making it easy to achieve the complete process from model invocation to task execution.

Example Analogy

You can think of MCP as the “plugin center for AI” or a “central control room”:

  • When you install a new app on your phone, it gains new functionality;
  • Likewise, when an Agent connects to a new MCP, it gains new capabilities.

For example:

  • By connecting to a “weather query MCP,” the Agent can answer weather-related questions;
  • By connecting to a “CRM system MCP,” the Agent can query customer information and generate sales reports;
  • By connecting to a “document analysis MCP,” the Agent can help summarize contract content and extract key data.

Application Scenarios

MCP has a wide range of applications, and common business scenarios include:

  • Automated Data Processing: Enables Agents to automatically extract data from systems, generate reports, or complete approvals.
  • Intelligent Q&A and Information Retrieval: Connects to enterprise knowledge bases or third-party information sources to deliver accurate responses.
  • Cross-System Collaboration: Allows AI to interact with multiple business systems at the same time to complete complex tasks (such as ticket creation, customer notifications, etc.).
  • Personalized Extension: Individual users can connect their own tools or APIs through MCP to build customized AI agents.

Through MCP, your Agent is no longer just an “intelligent agent that answers questions,”
but rather an intelligent work partner that can truly understand business, execute tasks, and connect systems.
